Nonprofits carry the same employee relations weight as anyone else, usually with a fraction of the staff to carry it. We set aside a number of places each year for organisations doing work we believe in.
Debrief exists because HR software is priced for companies with an HR department. Nonprofits rarely have one. The person handling a leave request or a difficult conversation is often the same person running the programme, and the tools they are offered are either a spreadsheet or a suite that costs more than a staff salary.
That gap is the whole reason this product exists, and it is sharpest in the nonprofit sector. So rather than treat it as a discount line on an invoice, we treat it as part of what we are building.
Selected organisations get the full product at a subsidised rate, and for some that means free access to the platform. Not a trimmed tier, not a trial that expires.
We are choosing a small number of organisations deliberately, because a subsidised place should mean real attention rather than a coupon code. We tend to look for registered nonprofits with staff to manage, a genuine need for employee relations tooling, and someone on the team who will actually use it.
Size matters less than fit. A ten-person organisation with real HR obligations is a better match than a large one looking to cut a line item.
Write to us with who you are, what you do, roughly how many staff you have, and what you are handling today. A few honest paragraphs are worth more than a formal application, and there is no form to fill in.
